What does a sewer root control program involve?
First, we will clear your drains using our powerful high-pressure water jetting equipment to ensure your drains are clean from dirt blockages and that all the roots have been cut and are ready for the Vaporooter application. Next, we use our high-resolution CCTV drain inspection equipment to get a clear assessment of the condition of your drains.
We will then schedule a follow-up in 6-8 weeks and apply our Vaporooter foaming agent by pumping the foam into your sewer drains. Over the following weeks, the root incursions die and wash away with the wastewater without causing further blockages and inconvenience to you.
Once we have applied Vaporooter to your sewer, we guarantee that you will not have another blockage in your sewer system for 12 months.

Why is treating my pipes annually with Vaporooter a better solution than just having them unblocked regularly?
Unfortunately, once roots have entered your sewer pipes, you have an ongoing problem. Each time you have your drains cleared, the roots that have been disturbed respond by growing back thicker and more vigorously than before. The ticker growth opens the cracks and joints even wider allowing more sewage to contaminate your soil and more roots to penetrate your drains. It becomes a vicious cycle reducing the period between each blockage.
Why do I have to wait 6-8 weeks after clearing a blockage before applying Vaporooter?
When roots are cut out while clearing a blockage, the roots respond very quickly by “bleeding” sap that assists healing and regrowth but impedes the intake of any chemical. When the “bleeding” stops, nutrients travel up the root system, promoting growth. After 6 -8 weeks, vine white root stems have formed that absorb the Vaporooter herbicide very efficiently, maximising the effectiveness of the Vaporooter process.
